Meet our Executive Coordinator: Traci DeVor
For Traci DeVor, family means everything. Her passion for Villaggio and all that it represents stems from her mother, Judy, and stepfather, Ken Riener. As founding members of Villaggio, Ken and Judy have been involved in the development of this Life Plan Community for over 15 years.
With deep roots in the San Luis Obispo community, Traci and her family believe in the impact Villaggio can make as the only Life Plan Community in the area, providing long-time locals the opportunity to remain close to family.
“My Mom and I were very involved in my grandmother’s life and care during her last several years,” DeVor said. “She lived in a local care facility which didn’t come close to what Villaggio will offer, and that is one of the reasons my Mom and Ken have been working so hard to get Villaggio going.”
A CSU Chico alum, DeVor brings insight about the community in her role as Executive Coordinator. Her unofficial title could be “jack of all trades”, as she takes on many different roles; including working directly with CEO, Mark DeLotto, working at the information center and supporting the sales and development team.
Prior to working with Villaggio, DeVor was a physical education teacher, and for the past 11 ½ years, she worked at Tolosa Winery coordinating wine club events and other member activities. But her most important job so far? Being a Mom.
“My first and primary job has always been Mom,” Traci said. “I give 100 percent to everything I do, and I always make sure I maintain a good work/life balance. Most importantly, I am always passionate about what I do.”
Her younger son, Jacob, currently attends her alma mater, CSU Chico. Her older son, Tom, works with her husband Bill who is the General Manager/COO of a local greenhouse operation.
Traci and her husband live in her childhood home in SLO and enjoy staying active and taking trips to their cabin in Shaver Lake California.
